Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, although a tad run down, provided essential amenities like a work desk, fridge, A/C, and microwave. However, some attention and sprucing up are needed to address issues like holes in the carpet and sheets, as well as minor repairs.
The hotel had clean and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering a pleasant experience. The location was good for meeting friends and accessing various amenities. The dining experience was lacking, but the gourmet pizzas were enjoyable. Overall, it provided good value for the money.
The hotel has its ups and downs. The rooms were not made up during our absence, which was disappointing considering the price we paid per night. On the bright side, they offer laundry services and a hot tub. However, we encountered a terrible smell in room 120.
The hotel's location is excellent, close to many restaurants and easy to access. The rooms, despite some issues like a slippery bathtub and a lingering smoke smell, were decent overall. The service was a mix of shortcomings and positives, with some staff going above and beyond but others lacking basic knowledge. Dining had its ups and downs, with a disappointing selection but still being above average for an inclusive breakfast. The facilities were satisfactory, although not extensively commented on.
The hotel's location was perfect for our family, providing easy access to activities in the lower mainland. The service was helpful and courteous, especially from Brad, the front desk manager. However, there seemed to be issues with housekeeping needing more supervision. The dining experience was one of the main reasons for our booking, offering a variety of fresh and delicious options, though some items like cold boiled eggs were disappointing. The rooms in the newer 3-story structure had an odd smell, reminiscent of something burning, and a faint 'dog' odor despite being accepted as we were traveling with a dog.
Upon arriving at the hotel at 1:00 in the morning, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a cleaner room. The pet-friendly environment was a nice change from previous experiences, although the sofa and pillows were not in the best condition. The location was convenient for our needs and was close to various restaurants and coffee shops, with easy highway access.
